For sale is my Jimmy with a GM 5.3 swap into the truck and I replaced everything from the fuel tank to the fuel rail on the motor with new parts. The fuel system is all plumbed in -06 Aeroquip socketless hose and -06 socketless fittings. I replaced the tank with a brand new tank and sending unit for a 1991 Jimmy and put the pump in the tank. I used a Holley/Walbro 255 LPH forced induction pump in the tank and a regulator/filter from a 99 to 03 Vette. I am the 4th owner of this truck and this truck is an original Arizona truck so there is very little rust on it at all. I have receipts for everything that has been done to this truck and it adds up to 27K. The only thing I don't have any receipts on is the axles which came from a 1986 CUCV with 28,XXX miles on it.

I would drive this thing anywhere in the U.S. Since the motor swap I have put about 500 miles on the truck and it runs flawlessly!

I am asking $10,000.00 and price is firm.

I need this thing gone yesterday, I am fighting Kidney cancer and I am going to lose my job and insurance soon. I need to put some coin in the bank.

I would look at a trade + cash my way.

Wow man crazy! Im shocked! You were so excited about it when you got it. I dont see why you dont just drive it.

On second thought, that may be what you end up doing at your price. Its VERY appropriately priced and VERY worth it!!! Trouble is, generally the people that have that kind of coin arent quite looking for that truck. They want something pretty or something that looks like a buggy.

Like i said though, thats a way fair price! You could not build that truck for 15k. So, If someone comes along, who has the money, and knows that, you will be set!

I love it but... I am always looking for something cooler. It drives like a Caddy and it rides pretty for a leaf sprung rig. The EFI 5.3 is just freakin sweet hands down out of the 8 1973 to 1987 Chevy or GMC trucks I have own this one it the best.

Been there and its happened! Kinda makes it worth it when you get the money out of it that you want.

Yup 68' factory 307 auto car with a big block and dual 750's under the stock hood with a th400 and 12bolt rear end. Just needs steeper gears and a high torque starter. Will be my summer project to finish it and then part with it. I have had it 16 years since i was 17 and had some good times with that car. I can say that on more than one occassion CHP's in their 5.0's they used to drive back in the day could not touch this car on the freeway. Pulled away from one who looked at me while i was getting on the freeway and i KNEW he wanted to stop me. I got on it doing about 60 and in about 3 seconds was way over 100. After a ways i got off the 15 fwy at the mcdonalds and pulled in for a soda and a few min later he came rolling up. LOL He just wanted to check it out and what was under the hood. LOL He was a car guy. I lucked out on that one. When i popped the hood he was like oh shiz! No wonder you left me. I bought him a coke and we BS'ed for awhile. Shook hands and he left. Good old times.

Wish I could spend that much money but I think the wife would kill me in my sleep.... Good luck with the sale!

Ttt with new pictures not really trying to push the sale of the truck but I found a 64 Chevy I must have!
