[/ QUOTE ] Don't really want too sell, but I kinda have too. I just bought a 78 El Camino, and the landlord says I have too meny vehicles. So the K5 is up for sale. It is a pretty solid truck. Needs the carb rebuilt, and the 3/4 axles swaped under it, but thats about it. Floors are solid, and thats the big one as far as body go's IMHO. It's got alittle surface rust, and the rockers could be replaced, but other then that, the body is strait.

keep a 78 elco that has little to no resale value and looses value each year verses keeping a K5 that gains in vvalue every year + is 1/2 topless and ya can put people in the back or if ya got the elco as a work truck take your back seat of the k5 out and you got a bigger area
am i missing something ??
I know its none of my business but had to try to help ya see the light.

1978 El Camino SS (Yes, it is a SS/Royal Knight) with a great body. I've always wanted one. I don't really want to sell the K5, but the landlord said one has to go. So I am selling the K5.

Re: 1976 K5 Blazer For Sale

just how many vehicles do you have at your place?? your landlord must be a jerk, i have 8 in the drive, 2 in front (street) and 2 in the back yard, (although as a courtesy i am looking for a place to store some of them); you don't have a friend or so you could leave something at their place

[/ QUOTE ] (3) vehicles total. The K5, the Camino, and the Status. Gotta remember, I'm in a trailor park. The problem is one neighbor calls and complains about everything. And it is in the lease saying 2 cars per household to prevent parking on the street.

Re: 1976 K5 Blazer For Sale

got any empty spots, rent the lot to have a driveway to park /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
or find you some indoor storage to keep the elky looking good /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
or sell the econo-box and keep the elky for a daily driver /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

[/ QUOTE ]In all honesty, can't sell the econo-box, need the mpg's. Also I belive the K5 will bring the $$$ I need to pay off the loan and some bills. Plus in a year or so I want to buy a first gen K5. Something about the body style of a 72 that I really like. That and the full top comeing off. So I need to sell the 76.
