Yep that's what I was thinking. If it was around a $1000 .....I think I would give a go just for the heck of it.

Yeah probably not. I only remember one guy when I was a kid that had a 4x4 van and it was a custom job.

VIN indicates GMC /Van/400-4BBL/1 Ton/ Van&panel/1978/Lordstown Ohio.

That's all I can find at a glance.
