1977 Bonanza Blazer with Cheyenne badging?

I saw this "Bonanza" badge on a 77' K5. The owner told me it was on the truck when he got it. The badging looks era correct for the year as far as I can tell. Has anyone ever heard of this option and/or what that entails?

Bonanza was a pick-up trim as far as I know...could be they replaced fenders at some point.

I had a '79 C-10 "Bonanza" and it is a trim package,as Rene said--if it was factory on your Blazer the dash pad would have "Bonanza" on it near the glove box as well....

I never saw that trim package on a K5,but that doesn't mean GM didn't offer it...more likely the emblems were swapped on at some point,or the fender replaced though..

bonanza is a factory trim offered by GM. i had a 77 k20 bonanza. it was a sales incentive program, it was below the silverado trim, nothing special.

Cool, thanks for the info guys. My guess is its a K5 Chyenne with Bonanza badges and/or Fenders based on the trim it currently has. I'll have to check the dash next time I see it to see what it says.

There was someone else on here that had a Bonanza Blazer. I can't remember who it was but I saved the pics.

77`s had Gold/Mustard paint on the trim ,where yours is black. Fenders were probably swapped on at some point.

Never seen one in person. Only read about them. Offered first in '78 for Blazer but not completely sure when they killed it off, 1980 I think.
That brown/tan has a 4BT in it. Saw it on another site. Cool truck!
