This image was day one. I don't think I actually owned it at the time this picture was taken. I bought it at an estate auction. I think I paid $18,000 for it. The auctioneer said I was the only bidder other than his friend that was going to buy it and flip it. I drove from Elk Grove CA to Red Bluff CA to pick it up. My trailer was to narrow so I went home wihtout it. I had a friend take me back a few days later and I drove it home. There is an oil tag in the window from 2011 and the oil has about 1100 miles on it.
I buffed out the paint and replaced the carpet. The paint turned out nice. I used some sound deadening material before replaceing the carpet. I put it on the floor and all the sides including inside the doors. I've seen what looks like a better material, so I might do it again later. The carpet install was not the best, and the kit I got from LMC wasn't the greatest fit.
This is it after I buffed it out. The paint keeps getting better. "Eastwood Buffing a Barn Find" is how I fixed the paint. I keep applying the third stage and it keeps getting better.
