Hi Guys, Ive been a long time lurker and finally bought my k5 last year. Now the wife wont let me put any money into it!!!
So here I am trying to sell it.
For the good: PO had rebuilt the engine and tranny, aprrox 37k ago. Supposidly a .030" 350, and stock rebuild on the th350. NP 203 has a part-time kit installed, not sure on which one. Everything runs strong, no smoke and passes denver emissions no problem. Has some old headers on it with true dual exhaust, no cats needed (over 6200 gvw). All glass in great shape, no cracks in windshield.
As for the bad: The truck was used by the PO as a plow/landscaping truck, The rear end is on its last leg. Frame is NOT bent but does have the typical cracking by the PS box. Has no rear seat, front seats were upgraded to '90's ford ranger seats( I believe)
For what I have done:
Installed 315/75/16 (35x12.5x16) Hankook Dynapro M/T's within the last 2 months. Have not put more than 300 miles on them. Also put on new 16x10 (2.5" BS) black steel wheels. I went with 16's for future plans of 1 ton axles. I had to trim the front fenders to allow for the 35's, when I did this, found that at sometime in its previous life someone bondo'd over the rust and then painted. It is now trimmed out. The floor boards are solid.
I had big plans for this truck, but now it sits until sold. It will take a little bit of elbow grease to get it road worthy again, TRE's are on the way out after the 35's went on, it bump steers like an SOB!!! Rear end is short lived.
The truck is originaly 350/th350/np203 per vin, with dana 44 front and gm 12 bolt rear. Not sure if engine numbers match or not.
As you can tell im a NOOB here and cannot post pics for a while, but if you are interested please call or text me: 720-448-3844 for more info/pics.
Im asking $2000 obo. The truck is located in parker,co.
Thanks, Eric
