Yup, 12-bolt and maybe 4" of lift. Talk him down to $2000. I paid $3,000 for my '90 and the body has NO rust, frame had only minor surface rust, interior looked new, had a 3" bodylift, and fresh paint. Engine runs good, tranny works fine, needed new a/c, and the power steering hoses had to be replaced. So, I would say $3,000 for the 2nd option you have is a bit much.
