1978 K-30 single wheel questions.

Sounds like a nice project....
These were aftermarket seats JP Penny, Sears and JC Whitney sold them.
There was something odd about the front seat arrangement in the truck. Wife said it was put in the truck the first season it was brought home, they are the original owners. Purchased a bucket seat combo unit from "Sears and Roebuck" that was a custom fit for it new. Seat backs look like a Camaro or something with a console in the middle. Kind of a cool looking thing but it's nearly in rags now. Center console is like a dodge, flips up to make a third seat. Never seen anything like it, wish I had a way to take pictures of it. No modifications to fit it in, it was a direct replacement for the truck.

Those are really close but not exactly the same. I wish I had taken pics of them. Seat backs on these were a little more stylized, deeper, almost like a racing seat on the sides. Center fold over with the cup holder looks the same though. Very neat, have you ever seen an ad or print media on them? I would like to find out if they are worth recovering or just toss in a bench seat and be done with it.

Back around 1979 1980 was last I saw them in a catalog. I am sure a van and truck shop might remember them.

Check this out I know they were spendy back then too.

350 and dual rears is pretty common in agriculture country. Now the srw and big block would be a find

Been watching the rain and snow this week trying to get over to work on this truck. No cooperation from Mother Nature at all this week.
