Just can't afford to keep the truck.

1978 Chevrolet K5 Blazer
350 c.i. V8
TH350 Automatic Transmission
Four Wheel drive

Motor is in very good shape. It has a BRAND NEW Quadrajet that has less than 150 miles on it. It has a Holley intake manifold and valve covers. The motor runs good and sounds GREAT! The exhaust is through long tube headers, and then through 18" glasspacks. They're true duals and exit on the sides in front of the rear tires.

TRANSMISSION - The truck has a re built transmission with less than 100 miles on it. It's a Th350. Shifts perfectly, im very pleased with it. I have all the paperwork for it

Up front is a 10 bolt solid axle, out back is a 12 bolt. The front end has disc brakes, rear has drums. The truck stops fine, i have new front pads for it if you want them. It stops fine though.

Interior is decent. the floors are covered in bedliner to prevent rust and for ease of cleaning. Perfect for off-roading, just rinse it out with the hose. The interior is complete. It's been redone in black, and it looks really good except for two things. 1- te dash has a few cracks on it, but has been redone in black and looks good. 2. The door panels are tan, but by the time you read this i may have sanded them down and changed them to black.

The paint is a sunburst orange, with some light metalflake in it. It POPS in the sun and is gorgeous. It's been painted only about a year ago, and it in almost perfect condition.

All the lights, gauges, etc in the truck work.

All in all, it's a great truck. Needs a few ends tied up, but it is 100% drivable as-is.

* This DOES have A/C, it just needs the compressor put back in and hooked up.

New items on the truck:

Reman'd, souped up Q-jet. Brass plugs, casting holes epoxied, etc.
Fuel pump
Air filter and element
Coil
Cap
Rotor
Wires
plugs
Pcv valve
carb base gasket
valve cover breathers
radiator
TRANSMISSION
Front bumper
u joint
Speedo cable
manual choke conversion

VERY nice lookin truck...if I weren't goin to Iraq in a couple months, I might be interested.

However, It's definitely not a '78. :dunno:

More like early to mid 80's with the grill/headlights and front sheet metal it has.

unless the front sheetmetal has been changed out, and the only 2 years the turn signals were in the bumper was 81 and 82. :wink1:

Well, it's a 78. Titled as such. But it has an 82 front end
