You can look at the pictures in my photo album and I will be posting some recent pictures from Blazer Bash 2011.

Please contact me through a PM if you are interisted in looking at the truck or need more information.

I am selling my toy because my wife and I are expecting our first child and some toys have to go. I have done a lot of difficult trails with the Blazer with no problems. Some of the trails include Holy Cross, Carnage BV, Mt. Blanca, Hells Revenge, Pritchett Canyon, Iron Chest, and more.

I know I have forgotten some items and will update the description as I remember. The blazer is in running and driving condition (I just got back from Blazer bash) and you are more than welcome to look at it (I live in the Arvada, CO. area). I am asking $9,000 for it but will consider all serious offers. I can also deliver it if needed.
I have a trailer: (2) 6000 pound Dexter Torsion Axels with brakes and 8 lug hubs, new tires, all LED lights, drive-over fenders, 16’ with a 2 1/2’ dove tail (about 18’ total), 2 5/16” bulldog hitch, brake-away kit, folding ramps, and d-ring tie down points.
The trailer can be added to the deal or will be for sale after I sell the Blazer.
The Body and Frame:
The Body is a 1978 K5 Blazer (with title) that is pretty beat up. I don’t know if there is a straight body panel on it. Let me say that again….the body is rough, I have wheeled it and it shows…it is not a show truck but will take you were ever you want. The wheel base is 112”. The frame is boxed from the front bumper back to the rear of the transfer case cross member. The cross member under the radiator was removed and replaced with a HD cross member and the steering box area has been braced for extra support (don’t need to worry about the frame moving at all). There is a custom front and rear bumper with tow points and shackles. There are 2x4 steel rock sliders and a complete roll cage. The windshield frame has been replaced with a 1972 frame so there is no roof on it. The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced (I have been driving like this for two years).
Drive Train:
TH 400 tranny with a HD rebuild and a TCI full manual- reverse shift pattern valve body with engine braking (made for rock crawlers and 4x4s), B & M shifter, 36,000 GVW tranny cooler and tranny temp gauge (never gets above 160 degrees with the cooler).
203/205 Off Road Design GEN II Doubler with an Off Road Design triple stick shifter, rebuilt 203 and 205 with a 32 spline front output and 1410 yokes and the 205 has been clocked up 2” so it is level with the 203. Custom cross member/ skid plated that also covers the tranny pan. The tranny and transfer case have Energy Suspension mounting bushings.
There is HD rear drive shaft and the front shaft is a 4 spline (square- loud on the street but super strong). I have a spare 4 spline shaft that will fit the front or rear. All drive shafts have 1410 U-Joints.
Engine:
Chevy 5.7 liter (350) with TBI fuel injection (TBI was professionally tuned and a new chip burnt for the tune and to eliminate the EGR) the TBI has all new sensors including a 4 wire O2 sensor and VSS sensor, 4 core radiator, headers, performance intake, K&N air filter, dual batteries, dual exhaust, new fuel pump, and new 25 gallon fuel tank with baffles.
Front Axle:
Chevy Dana 60 with 4:88 gears and a Detroit locker, 35 spline Chromoly inner and outer shafts, Warn drive flanges, 1410 pinion yoke, HD diff cover. There is also a set of stock 35 spline inner and outer shafts with u-joints that are already assembled for trail spares.
Front Suspension:
Super lift springs, the rear spring mounts have been moved forward (FUSH), Off Road Design HD shackles with all greasable bolts on all bushings. The shocks suck and need to be replaced.
Steering:
Hydro-Assist high steer with DOM tie rod and drag link and HEIM joints. The steering arms are Poison Spider. The pump has been ported for Hydro-Assist and there is a powering steering cooler for extra volume and to keep things cool.
Rear Axle:
Corporate 14 bolt with 4:88 gears and a Detroit locker, Disc brake conversion, 1410 pinion yoke, pinion guard, HD diff cover, shaved.
Rear Suspension:
Custom Alcan springs (really soft and flexy), custom Anti-wrap bar, Bilstein 5150 shocks, Off Road Design shackle flip and hangers, greasable bolts on all bushings.
Tires and Wheels:
(5) 42” Super Swamper TSLs mounted on 16.5” USA 6x6 double bead locks with rock rings. The spare has never seen the ground and other four have about 80% tread left. All five tires are custom grooved.
Extras:
Mile Marker 12000 pound winch, High-lift jack, new CB with a 4’ fire stick, new suspension seats with 4 point harness and sliders (have the submarine belt to make it a 5 point), and a bunch of miscellaneous spare trail parts.

Below is am image of the Blazer on the RTI ramp at 2011 Blazer Bash.

I will back up Pancake, this is one bad ass blazer. I wheeled with Pancake all weekend long at Blazer Bash and he went everywhere he pointed his K5. I was really amazed how he did on Prittchet, First attempt, made **** look easy.
$9000 is a steal on this, I just built a 89. Dumped $13,000 in it and I cant hang with Pancake.
