If the truck is in good shape, not much rust, and runs ok...I would go for it. (Some basics to look for that I used when looking for my truck no to long ago... Be sure to check the oil, Trans fluid, and antifreeze color. Look for any leaks, or puddles under the vehicle, make sure everything works (lights, horn, wipers, the little things) Before test driving I would let it idle for 10 min and look for any leak, check for smoking and cycle the trans through the gears. On test drive be sure to test the 4 wheel drive. This is just some basics I wish to pass along. If you already know what you are doing and plan to do this, sorry for being redundant. I am new and its not very often I get to pass along any of my experience.
