This truck is owned by a professional mechanic and it has been gone through from front to back. It is a 1979 Chevy K10 short bed. It has a/c but currently does not work. It has very little rust. The worst is behind the rear wheels. It has a rebuilt 350 sbc that was installed by previous owner and I know nothing about it. It runs good and has Corvette aluminum valve covers on it and a carter afb carb. It does not seem to burn any oil. The rear main seal does leak some. It has an sm465 manual trans and an np205 transfer case. It has a 12 bolt rear and 10 bolt front with 3.73 gears and manual locking hubs. It has a home built headache rack/light bar. It has a factory tach. This is a way nice truck and ready to drive. It could use some new rubber(it has 31/10.5R15 on factory 15x8 ralley wheels). The list of items I have repaired/replaced is:
-full service(new oil and filter, new air filter, and new fuel filter)
-all fluids have been changed(diffs, trans, transfer case, engine, power steering, brake fluid, and coolant.
-new rear u-joints
-new output seal on transfer case
-new pinion seal on front diff
-new rear wheel cylinders
-new proportioning valve
-new master cylinder
-new belts
-new power steering hoses
-new front shocks
-new steering stabilizer
-new rear lug nuts so they all match
-added new sunpro manual gauges due to factory oil pressure gauge not working
-new headlight switch
-both fuel tanks removed and cleaned inside and out and both sending units replaced
-all new rubber fuel hoses and fuel selector valve replaced
-carb was pulled apart and cleaned
-new fan shroud
-previous owner replaced battery in 2014(it has factory dual battery trays but only 1 battery in it)
-new custom seat cover that actually fits good
-new paint(courtesy of dupli-color rattle cans)
Asking $3,000. I have $1200 in receipts for parts alone.
