1979 to 1991 flexplate

I am putting a 1991 350 motor in my 1979 blazer and need to know what flex plate to use. The 1991 had a 700R4 tranny and my 1979 has a 350 tranny. I am keeping the 350 tranny in it. Do I use the flex plate off my old motor or do I need to get another one? THANKS
 
You will need the flexplate for the engine. The bolt circle changed with the invent of the 1 piece rear main seal (1986). You just need to know how many tooth flexplate you have and then also make sure of the bolt circle for the convertor.
