According to the VIN on my 80 Chevy Scottsdale SWB K10 4X4, it came with the 4.1L V6 2bbl carb engine (code D). I've never heard of the 4.1 v6 before, but I've been around the 4.3 v6.
I ordered the basecoat and clearcoat kit for it. It's going to be WA4069 Mulsanne Blue Metallic.

The 4.1 would have been the 250 inline 6.

I realized that after my post..
I was just going by a photo from a website that showed a 4.1L V6 and it stated right on the site that it was for 80-84 Chevrolet.
I've only ever personally saw the 292 inline 6, because a friend of mine has one in his Dad's old 81 Chevy 3/4 4x4 long bed pickup.

I got a custom front winch bumper for the front, and brand-new OER grille, Mulsanne Blue metallic paint, rear disc brake conversion kit with e-brake calipers for the rear 14b FF axle, new AC evaporator core, new AC compressor and mount for the LS, new billet aluminum shifters for the 78-83 tilt column, new sphere ball for the tilt column knuckle, new old school gun rack for the back window, new OER door chrome mirrors, new Grant steering wheel for the tilt column, new chrome radiator support top plate - the old one was missing after the LS swap, Highliner headliner kit, all new Silverado interior panels, trim, pieces, etc.
I bought a junk truck just for the gun rack… it’s one of my favourite additions.
