I'm looking at a new frame for my 4wd swap. Would I have any trouble mounting a 1982 cab and bed, with a 1991 front core support to a 1980 frame? I want to know specifics like body mounts. If I can slap all this on without moving body mounts, I will most likely buy it.

Thanks.

It will work fine BUT you can't use the 6 rubber cab mounts from the '82 cab. You have to stick with the frame years (73-80) since the split is between '80 and '81, the rubber body mounts changed also. Theres a good chance your rubber mounts on the frame are shot so this is the time to upgrade to some aftermarket poly bushings. Just make sure to get 73-80 mounts.

Oh yeah, the front bumpers won't bolt on either. The frame horns are different. You can fix this by doing some fabrication.

Sounds like I need to keep searching, thanks guys. I couldn't remember when it changed.
