Following copied from my Craigslist ad
I'm selling a modified 81 blazer.

engine:
350 SBC
about 10k miles on a .030 rebuild.
RV Cam
Mallory HEI Ignition with MSD plug 8.5mm wires
Holley 670 Truck Avenger Carb
K&N Filter with Outerwear
has brand new dual electric fans from Summit racing. pull lots of CFM to cool this beast down on the trail.
Hedman Headers into dual flowmaster 40s dump right above the axle
engine spins great oil PSI and runs cool.
has a brand new Optima Yellow top with upgraded battery cable relocated to the firewall in a ruffstuff specialties mount
no heater/ac setup on this truck. let nature keep you comfortable with the open top and doors
Trans/T Case:
just put in a rebuilt/upgraded TH400
great pressure and shift firmness. can really feel it lock into gear.
along with the trans i put in a rebuilt NP241 transfer case.
this trans/adapter/t case is setup perfectly to be used in a 241-205 doubler setup with all the best 1 ton drivetrain parts
custom extended driveshaft from south bay driveline
Axles:
Front axle is a corporate 10 bolt with 8 Lug outers. has new brakes with stainless lines
Rear Axle is a 14 Bolt, shaved smooth to not hang up on rocks
Disc Brake swap with all new calipers and rotors with brand new stainless brake lines from ORD
Welded center section for 100% traction both on and off road
both axles have 4.10 gear ratio and fresh gear lube
Suspension:
Rear- 56" chevy springs hanging from a custom DIY4X shackle Flip setup with 6" shackles greasable bolts for the bushings
RuffStuff Specialties simple swap brackets and perches used with the springs to push the rear axle back to extend wheelbase. will be a very stable setup.
Front- Custom spring hangar setup tied into the winch bumper with 56" springs, also have brand new shock towers and Bilstein 5100 shocks that are not installed. basic shocks on there now.
sitting on 38.5 x 15.5 x 16.5 TSL super swampers with great amounts of tread left. some rock rash on the tires. wheels are basic black steelies
also swapped in an XJ steering shaft. gives great feed back by eliminating the soggy rag joint and going to a solid ujoint style.
Body:
Pretty clean sheetmetal. california truck, no rust
fenders were cut for tires
custom rock sliders welded to the rockers
has a custom tube bumper on the rear
Interior:
gutted, no carpet or padding.
roll on bedliner in passenger area.
front half of a custom roll cage. didnt get a chance to finish the rear section yet
front seats are corbeau ultras, extra tall, extra wide for more comfort the driver seat has a SeatLoc custom billet seat slider so you can adjust the seat perfectly.
rear bench is the factory setup
also have corbeau harnesses. i have two 4 point over the shoulders for the front, and two 2 point lap belts for the rear bench.
both seat mounts are built into a tube frame off the roll cage
the stock dash pad was taken off. as well as the factory guage and dash
just put in all new Autometer gauges. Speedo, Tach, Volt, Oil pres,Fuel Level, Water temp, & tranny temp. all gauges work perfectly except the speedo, which needs to be connected to the new transfer case
also made a switch panel that controls the e fans, and lights, a set of KC slimlites up front and some Pro Comp lights for reverse flood lights
In the bed is a 22 gallon fuel cell in place of the factory fuel tank (which can come with it if you want) i have that plumbed to a fuel filter under the cab with AN -6 hoses and into the factory hardlines
the hard top was replaced with a sof top. the windows are zip on style, but the zippers have ripped off so they are not on the truck. very easy fix.
truck does not currently have a tailgate
in addition to everything listed, a spare wheel that needs a tire
a few other odds and ends that as i find i will include with the truck
truck is not the cleanest blazer around. but is a very very strong setup that with a little bit more work will make a great drivable off road rig.
Extremely sad to see this go as i've put a lot of love and effort into it over the past few months, but life happens.
will trade for smogged current vehicle, plus cash depending on trade. would prefer a 90's chevy pickup or suburban, Jeep or Toyota 4x4. email me with trades and we will see where it goes. All trades considered, but cash talks
please let me know if you have any questions. i tried to be as thorough as possible so there are no suprises.
Thing not listed is my Dana 60 that I had to throw under this thing. Right now a buddy is buying it seperatly but if the truck sells before I am willing to get rid of it together.
If any questions or interest let me know. I'm pretty quick to respond on my phone. Asking $4000 on craigs, I'm more willing to work with the brotherhood.
