1982 C30 restored: Custom Diesel/5spd swap

1982 Chevy C30 Silverado is originally from Texas, and has no rust anywhere on the frame or body. Silverado package, originally a Camper Special: 454/auto, PW, PL, A/C, Cruise. Dana 70HD rear axle. Body was stripped & painted PPG black.

The truck is now powered by a 3.9 liter Isuzu Turbo Diesel 4BD1-T engine. Upgrades include an '07 cummins HE351 turbo pushing through a new cummins intercooler making over 20lbs of boost. High flow injectors were used from Sheid Deisel and the injector pump has been tuned for performance. 4" exhaust was custom welded from the turbo flange to the muffler; 3" exiting the rear. Transmission is a 1-ton NV4500 5-speed with overdrive (runs 2200 RPM @ 70mph) Custom HD clutch and all new hydraulics used. A/c works!

Truck has been driven 10,000 miles since completed, with no issues. I haul a single car trailer and get 18mpg on the highway. Hundreds of hours have been put into the fabrication & execution of this build. Needs nothing.

This is exactly what I am looking for... except I want a K30 Good thing the 4BT is so short. Made a lot more room for the intercooler and radiator.

Yeah but it still will not meet my requirements, it has to be a 3+3 K30 for me

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have over $10,500 just in parts, and I love this truck, but I'm hauling lots of cars lately and I want a crew cab to haul a 3-car ramp trailer.

I'd consider trades for a cummins Dually.
