1982 gmc jimmy 35s vortec 456s

im selling my 1982 gmc jimmy. it is a diesel title. i installed a vortec motor out of my 1999 tahoe i wrecked. i put the 1994 tbi serpentine brackets on it with a new edelbrock waterpump and edelbrock intake. it has a 4 inch lift with 35 inch muds. tahoe power seats dana 44 front axle with 456 gears and a trac loc differental. the rear is a 12 bolt with 456s and a auburn pro series posi. this drives great. runs great. it has a new driveshaft and diesel radiator. im in lincoln california its about 30 miles north of sacramento. i want 2500.00 for it i might part out if it doesnt sell.

you know i would have made you a killer deal on it? you looking for a set of axles geared with 4.56 gears and posis to push those 35s around a little easier? :D

I know but I was young and really stupid, now I'm just young and a little less stupid. If I knew then what I know now I would not have bought my K10.

Anyways, are you hinting that you might part it out? Oh, and I'm running 38.5's not 35's so all the more reason I need some gears.

well

ive been doing 2wd swaps on blazers for about 2 years now and i know i could get alot more for this blazer if i used one of the many 2wd frames that are in my wrecking yard so swap parts from i could get alot more for it. im actually confuised as to why no one has bought it yet? so to answer your question yes i will part it out to you its a 12 bolt rear axle (you will need to get driveshaft conversion u joint from napa) new brakes axles ect ect and a dana 44 front axle with flat top knuckles (i could even get the passengers side milled and drilled for you, it pays to know people) the front has a trac loc, i like the trac lock because it is strong but not so strong enough to break a axle and a auburn pro series posi for the rear 456 gears for :thinking: .....................................................................................................
hows 900.00 sound? ill even through in a 2wd sector shaft to make the crossover easier. i might even have a brcmotorsports crossover steering arm. hey let me know and to all others not going to get the same deal, sorry i like this kid

I've got some stuff up for sale and if it goes through I might just be interested in the whole setup. I've always been kicking myself for getting a K10 as I really like the K5's more, plus more seating and I'm a wee bit into stereos so the rear cargo space is nice. Anyways let me see how things pan out, I'm expecting a few e-mails soon and I can go from there.

I too was wondering why this hasn't sold, it would be pretty funny if I ended up buying this as it was the first K5 I saw on CK5 when I signed up. :eek1: Maybe it is destiny, that's why it hasn't sold, well that and practically everyone on here thinks if it doesn't have a 454/SM465/205/14ff/d60 it's crap. Not true my friends....not true.

EDIT: something I just thought about, (as I'm sitting here pondering starting over and getting rid of my K10 to start with a K5) is what did you do for registration? Your here in Cali so does it pass smog I assume and what was done to make it legal for registration because of the engine swap and intake and such?
