Originally, I was messing with the back window trying to get it up.. The motor worked fine, but since I left the tailgate up with the window down (worn out rubber molding) for two seasons, well needless to say water got down in there and rusted everything tight. So I tried putting the rear window motor wire in the fuse box marked "Battery" and it worked for a nano second and then stopped working. Then there wasn't any power to the battery port on the box. So I did it again to all the rest of the Battery ports and fried them all. Yet the Engine cranks over, the radio works, all the accessories work except for the ones that relied on the direct battery ports...so there goes the electric fuel pump. :weapon7:

Im not sure if the fuse box is totally fried or what, but where the actual fuses are - those all work. But any port that says Battery doesn't function at all.

I've already removed the 2-5/16" bolts from the fuse box, its still in there. Can't quite remove it from under the hood. Part of it juts out on either side (in the engine compartment) preventing removal in the interior.

I have no idea what to do. Help!

Probably blew a fusible link.
They are pieces of wire in the main feed lines that are smaller than the rest of the cable and are covered with some fireproof insulation.

They melt and break the circuit to prevent fires.

Someone here might know where that one is.

I'll check my schematic and see if it shows a location.

fusible links..

I was thinking more the physical location of the links... If it was the fusible link described in the wiring diagram, where its located between the battery and the alternator, then the vehicle wouldn't function at all. But in my case, just the ports on the fuse box itself that are marked battery are non-functioning. The fuses in the fuse box function fine, for example I can crank the engine, listen to the radio, turn the headlights on, etc. But I need the ports in the fusebox to run the electric fuel pump or drivers/passenger side windows.
