I saw this and thought it looked good. I never saw it done to any others. :D Might try this with a stock 87 one. May be one of you photo shop masters could trick one for me? :confused:

Yea this is the right style grille. I want to leave middle strip argent and do the above and below in black. I think on the headlights I will go all black except the line between light an turn signal. However I only have the lights like in the yellow truck. Now to try and mess with Paint shop 4 (lol might as well use crayons). :haha: :haha: :haha:
 
make sure and get a good paint though. the 1st time I painted mine it chipped off every time a bug hit it but I found some industral stuff that took 8 hours to dry but it is rock hard and still dont have a chip on it after a year and I drive on the freeway every day.
 
mines black too and i think it looks better, but mine is a 79 k10
