I just pulled this from a 1982 K30 I was going to use the transmission but I found an nv4500 earlier this week. The truck was from an Idaho school and had 75,000 documented miles. It was a maintenance/snow truck and was rusty so there is rust on the parts. It fired right up and drove through all of the gears fine and the 4x4 worked great. I'm not asking a lot, just enough to buy a new clutch and some odds and ends for my Suburban. $200 for all of it, or $150 for each item. I'll trade the 205 for a passenger side drop manual np241c.

Damn, why do things I need/want have to be so far.

Do you recall what the oil pressure was when it ran?

No I do not, but I drained all of the fluids before I pulled it and there wasn't any water in the oil and it didn't smell burned or feel gritty.

That's usually a good sign. Would you be able to pull the pan to get a picture of one of the main bearing?

Not for a while, but when I have a chance I will check it out. Shipping to Florida would be more than this is worth wouldn't it?

Ok, when you get a chance.

I'm crazy enough to drive up for it, lol. The engine in my truck died and I have another one I can build. But if I can get a good engine cheap enough it would be cheaper then buying all the needed parts for the extra block that I have. Even with shipping/driving for it.

Would you be willing to skid them up for shipping?

Ouch. I'll have to pass unless I can find an excuse to drive down from Vegas.
