Come on, you know you want it :D . Thing is pretty cool, if I was closer I would have to check it out.

ohhhh boy.... I can see it now... a member with a million foot camper lifted up on rockwells.... with an excuse that goes "The family wanted to get more involved with off roading"

a buddy of mine had that exact thing except in 4WD .... K30 style D60 and all. was apparently ordered like that. he had it for years.

my buds had a 454 in it. he pulled a flatdeck and fullsize chevy pickup behind it into and out of the bush.

That'd be awesome with either a D-max or 24 valve Cummins...bad application for a 6.2 IMHO.

454 is cool, but in something like that would get horrid fuel mileage.

His was a '78 for sure K30 chassis. literally ideantical to that one. I've been in it a bunch, its pretty big inside. and the mileage IIRC was 8 or 9 mpg. every day all day. thats what my '86 K30 crewcab SRW used to get with the 454. maybe 10 mpg unloaded. it is what it is.

I've been trying to find pics of his old pig. but it sold like 4 years ago when the 5'er and D-max came on board.

Oh man. I have never seriously considered just buying a plane ticket and driving home a 26 year old camper before. That thing is incredibly awesome.
