one end of the flange is messed ( I don't know how). its the last piece to complete my AC system. I'm not finding anyone that remans it. I'm thinking its possible to repop it though based on the tubing and finttings available so I might have to look in to that.
I actually spent a few more hours online today trying to come up with something. Then I got on the phone with LMC....which I was the 29th caller in line, who knew they were so busy lol....and after reviewing the diagrams and them providing real pics, it does appear somehow my 1984 has the 1985 system. So I went ahead and ordered the tube we thought best matched(mine is still different but it at least has the same ends and a similar fitting in the T) so we'll see how it goes.
Talking to pure choice (they make lots of plumbing for cars and performance stuff) they said this was one piece they never had demand for to reman. and a local machinist said that the mid 80's chevy's and some toyotas are iimpossible for him to make because it as a #6 fitting on one end and a #8 on the other, coupled with the flares each has and the middle T fitting.
I'm still looking for one if anyone has one. But now with that link to all the Murray fittings (Thanks @Wes Harden) I think I'll give them a call. I thought the pressure would be too high for barbed clamped fittings to work.
Yes the barbed fittings should have crimped collars. That t fitting on you old pipe is aftermarket solution to change over to 134a from r12. So probably none of the pipes will have that.
so once I figured out my 84 has an 85 AC system, I decided to go back to and research using 85 and it looks like Rock Auto has it, and it looks closer and more accurate to mine than the LMC one. Ordered one from them too. So next week this should be put to bed. Thanks for the input @Wes Harden
