1984 burb 388 stroker truck avenger

Hey guys

I have an 84 3/4 ton suburban for sale.

10 bolt front
s/f 14bolt rear 3.73 open I believe

388 stroker in it. .60 over 3.750 stroke.Fairly fresh (5k)Either dart or world casting heads Cant remeber which but I will find out. 165 cc runners with a little bowl work done to them.

Small solid roller cam .In the low 230 range.It is a comp grind I will find the Grind # latter today.Comp solid roller retro lifters.These parts are new this summer before I took the truck off the road.

The truck makes about 80 pounds of oil pressure.It leaks oil out of the passenger side valve cover pretty good.The hieght of the center post"s of the lt1 cover is a little to long for these heads and does not alow a good seal.

It has truck avenger carb on it.I have recurved the distributor.

It runs great Just needs a little fine tuning to run awsome.

Fresh turbo 400 last year.

Floor shifter.

Needs some rear break work.A little sloppy going down the road.I think the shocks are still original
Needs a windshield


Floors are in good shape.Needs a little rocker work Doors are all fair for the age some rust.Paint is shot.

It is in Ct.

It would make the trip.I was commuting to boston in it for about a month in the spring.I recentlly went about 400 miles round trip pully a small trailer with 3 dirtbikes.But it wont be a very comfortable ride.Like I said it wandors abit.You have to pay attention when you go to stop if it is wet.Pour oil in it every couple hundred miles Form the valve cover leak I does not use oil otherwise.

I dont have any pics My dig camara is shot.I was thinking of picking up a new one this weekend though.So I will get some picks for you.

I have a set of 4 inch lift springs to go with it and a holley jet kit
