Found this in a want advertizer for the north east. Asking $450.
Think I could abuse you guys and make some money off this truck? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I need to call the guy, to find most of it out.
It's a 1-ton 4x4 dually.
I figure the way you guys talk, the D60 that SHOULD be in the front is worth about twice his asking price? Then there is what should be a 14BFF in rear, though I don't know how much the DRW's are worth too this crowd. I've never heard of a 1-ton that didn't have a 454, and in 1985 if it is still stock it would have an NP208. The only question in my mind is if it's a TH400 or an SM465. Other than that, body would be iceing on the cake, but I'm not expecting much for $450.00. This is just an a /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif stage right now, I need the cash but I can't afford to spend on a mistake.

Judgeing by the massive amount of responses I have gotten from the thread in my signature, your all cheap pricks and I shouldn't even try. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

if its a K30, it will have a np205. if its a dually pickup, it will have a dana 70 rear axle. if its a K30, that is a smoking deal, even with no motor and a trash body.

If it was a dually it could have been a wide dana hd70 or narrow 14ff depending if it had a bed or if it was a cab-chassis.

Being a K30 does not guarantee it will have a 205, CUCV's are a prime example. I do agree that this should have a 205 though since it's a dually, I've never seen a dually with anything else.

i didnt think they made CUCV duallies?
and I have never seen a K30 with anything but a 203 (pre 80) or a 205.

Well I can add this...198x CUCV (M1008 5/4 ton) single rear wheel, 208 t-case.

To add to another thread awhile back the hubs are definitely "cheap looking" (both 1008/1009) black plastic, thus Warns I guess.

I have a 88 1-ton with a factory 350. It is SRW but its still a 1-ton 350. My dad also has a 90 G30 1-Ton Van with a factory 350 and, get this, a factory 700r4/4l60 /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif
