really considering selling the dually. this truck is my favorite truck ive ever had, but i need a tow rig, not another rock crawler that happens to tow and thats where i have a feeling its going.

i want to sell for $9000 as is DD condition. i would consider trade for a newer truck like averys k3500 but would prefer 2wd dually to keep my head out of the modifications section. (or a 91v3500)

plain and simple i need a stock tow rig with auto and AC. a cummins would be the sheet, but has got to be all stock.

truck has about 95k miles on it, but looks like the heads have been off before. who really knows. speedo quit working one day. have a whole new cluster for it, one of these days.
new fuel pump and filter, stock qjet, new waterpump, alternator, and doesnt really leak anything. a little saturation at the valve covers but nothing drips or even makes a drop. no smoke on startup or even when you mash the gas.

ive had it since 88K and bought it last summer sometime. had to put a new trans in imediately:doah:so the th400 is in very good shape. i also rebuilt a 86 trans on accident so it has a round pattern 205 on it instead of the synchro fig 8. it is slip yoke like it came. also has a NOS knob on it.

truck has factory oil cooler and a big trans cooler on it.

PTO winch is chelsea PTO with a ramsey winch. driveshaft shoots right out the back to the winch, but when the ******* PO installed the exhaust he cut the shaft. it needs to be replaced but nobody sells 96" of 1" solidstock in town.
goose neck hitch, bed rails, and rear replacement winch bumper.
front bumper is aluminum and has a hole cut out for a winch pass through. plate covers it.

60/70 are all stock, never been out. but i did put some nice manual hubs on it. 3.73s and open diffs. the rotor shields are still there perfectly straight and everything. i think the 70 is gonna need brakes soon though.
ORD crossover installed with the XJ steering shaft. did the washer trick just in case.
NO death wobble even with the bias swampers. they arent balanced though so when you get to 24-2500 rpm on the highway it gets to shaking.
otherwise it drives straight down the highway.
new front upper shackle hanger bushings and DIY beef shackles with 9/16 bolts. zero rate 1.5 forward, no sway bar.

interior is ok, but its got a badass new bench seat i put in. dash is cracked pretty good. door panels are nice, not all scratched up with PO names in it.
gauge bezel is super nice shape with factory radio. took the carpet out, no rust through on the floor. the clearance lights have leaked to it has rust around the door frame and cab corners. no rust otherwise.
also has a cowboy hat hanger and a gun rack in the back window.
there are scratches along the sides, mostly passenger lol. some buff out, but some are pretty good. lots of ships in the paint but very few dents. one in the driver door, and one on the passenger fender.
the roof has a big ass dent. forgot about that one.

fedex owes me a dashpad at the moment, but right now its cracked. i have nice GM vents where the chrome is perfect and i have a nice scottsdale emblem for the dash too. just waiting for the time to do it all at once.

the lift is 4-5 inches in the front, and the tires dont really rub unless flexed out real hard. i have 4" and 6" rear springs for it, see which ones i like better. right now its got blocks. white body shocks up front and none out back.

tires are 36x12.5x16.5 TSL SX 10 ply on GM 16.5 dually wheels powdercoated black. front two were new when i took the pictures, rear were 90% and one is a little chopped out. right rear inner. also has badass valve stems lol

the truck pulls good, could use some deeper gears though
