... I did a home alignment with some pieces of angle iron bolted to the hubs and a tape measure. So it's likely it could be off.

Few of us use the same tool, no worries.

King pins in good shape?

I completely rebuilt the Kingpin setup top and bottom. I'm curious if the oversized tires could overpower the spring on the plastic bushing and cone on the top side if that's even possible? Was thinking about switching to spring eliminators to see if that would help?

Inspect you leaf and shackle bushings and TRE’s before tearing into the kingpins.

IMO, the heavy engine is a bigger concern than the tire size for the king pins. Shimming the spring is another option if you don’t want to go springless.
