This Is My 1985 Gmc K-1500. It Has Over $15,000 Invested. The Paint Is A Jazzy Blue And The Racing Stripes Are Silver. The Frame And Underbody Are All Painted, It Is A Dark Gray.
It Has A 454 With A Turbo 400 Transmission Freshly Rebuilt With A Shift Kit. The Rearend Is A 12 Bolt Gm With 3.73 Gears And The Front Rearend Is The Stock Gm 10 Bolt With 456 Gears. I Also Have The Rear Matching Rearend With 456 Gears But There Is A Problem With The Ring And Pinion. The Engine Has Edelbrock Intake, Carb, Cam Shaft, And Lifters. It Has Flow Tech Headers With 2 1/2" Exhaust With Delta Force 50 Series Flowmasters.
Everything Except For The Mirrors Has Been Shaved; Door Handles And Gas Doors. The Doors Are Opened By And Autoloc Door Popper System With Two Remotes. The Buttons On The Inside Of The Door Panel As Seen In The Pics Open The Doors From The Inside. The Hood Is A Fiberglass Hood With A 4" Cowl. The Hood Is Attached By 8 Pins.
The Interior Is Mostly Custom. The Door Panels Are Blue Metallic Vinyl. The Seats Are Mounted To The Floor With 1/4 Steel Welded Into The Floor. There Is A Speaker Box Built Into The Floor Under Each Seat Made For Solo Baric 12's. The Center Console Can Have Two Twelves, One On Each Side. It Has Spots For Two Amps. The Seats Are Apc Racing Seats. It Has White Face Guages And Three Lower Mounted Guages In The Middle.
The Transfer Case Is Messed Up So The Front Driveshaft Is Off But I Will Give It To Whoever Buys The Truck. It Doesnt Have A Headliner. All The Trim In The Truck Is Painted The Same Silver As The Racing Stripes. The Rims Are Mb Motoring Rocker 18's And The Tires Are 37x13.50x18. I Bought Them In February And They Have Maybe 300 Miles On Them.
The Bed Has Spray In Bedliner That My Dad And I Did. Its Not The Best But All You Have To Do Is Put Another Coat On It. There Is No Tailgate Because We Planned On Getting A Smoothed Out One To Go Along The The Shaved Door Handles But Never Got Around To It. It Has A Gas Tank Mounted In The Bed Of The Truck In Order To Keep The Shaved Look We Dropped The Other Tanks And Put That One In The Back.
I Entered It In The Yoakum Tom Tom Festival Car Show And Got 2nd Place. There Are A Few Things That It Still Needs Done In Order To Be Perfect. It Still Needs To Be Buffed, The Chrome Trim Over The Doors Needs To Be Put On, The Gears Need To Be Changed To A Lower Gear Ratio, And It Needs New Shocks. There Are A Few Chips In The Paint From Rocks. I Live In The Country Down A Gravel Road And Those Tires Throw The Rocks Everywhere. It Takes Premium Gas Because When You Use A Lower Octane The Engine Will Knock.
The Only Reason Im Selling This Beauty Is Because Im Going To College And Its Not A Very Gas Efficient Vehicle. I Wish I Could Keep It But I Need The Money To Get A Car. My Loss Your Gain.
