Now for the rear.

Almost have engine together, waiting on my new Dart heads. Engine was bored .030 over, comp ex284 solid cam. Should sound as good as it runs.:waytogo:
Also mating a np205 to a 700r4.

I like the cleanup work Jeremy, looks great.

And a 284 solid should be sweet, and really come on about 2500 or so.

I wanna hear it.

Been cleaning the engine compartment. Will get the wires straighten around when engine goes in. Covered the engine compartment with truck bed coating. Also mounted 32 gallon blazer gas tank. The truck only had one saddle tank 20 gallon when I got it. I really going to like that mod.

lookin good.. id love to ditch my dual 18's!!!!!!!!!!!! especially for 1 34 gallon tank... it is a pita to pull in.. fill up.. turn around and fillup...

Not been on working on the truck lately do to some family issues. Hopefully can get back to it soon, I did get a little done to the engine though. Just waiting on the heads.

How do you plan on running the filler tube for the blazer tank? I'd also like to do this mod. dual tanks are a pain when you want to fill the rig up for a road trip. If i do this, I'd like to use a 42 gal burb tank...

Not to much still going on. Truck is at the body shop getting ready for paint.
700r4 ready, np205 ready(thanks to 76Zimmer), engine not ready:dunno:.
Will try to get picks of truck the way it looks now.

that sounds good Jeremy, did you get the shifters mounted up?

I put mine on to see how they went together, much easier with them out of the truck. I also had to mod the bracket that bolted to the t/c, because of how I ran my exhaust. Be sure to post a pic, because I want to see those blingin' knobs.

1985 GMC K20 - Engine

Finally have the last part to put the engine together. This thing is going to be a Beast, Spec on heads Dart 215cc intake ports, 72cc combustion, 2.08 1.60 valves. Used 2.08 cause that's the size I had in the cracked up ones, the valves where good but the heads where not. Need to get them painted and ready to go on. Will have pic of engine when together, I know I am a little slow with pics sorry will try to get some more this weekend.:waytogo:
