CA 1985 K30 Blazer

I need a change. I always joked that if I die, I want to be buried together with the blazer. I’m looking at other projects but also simplifying and fixing my house so I can enjoy it more.

I know it doesn’t mater, but there’s over $35k in this. Only things I paid someone for was engine/trans/Xcase/cage work. You can find all the info in my “Bender” thread. I don’t have a price, I don’t know what it’s worth. Rather not post anywhere else.

Listing things off the top of my head.

1985 Blazer
406sbc with FAST ezEFI, vortec heads, MSD Pro-Billet, etc etc, serpentine setup ,TBI tank w/in tank pump, DIY4x engine mounts
700r4 built
241 just freshened back in September (running VSS for future engine swap, Speedo cable not hooked up now) clocked flat
Rear 1350 flange SYE to 1410 yoke. Front long travel shaft with 1350s
D60: Cross over, PSC assist, springless WFO, Yukon superjoints/hubs/ inner and outer shafts, 4:88 large carrier, questionable Spartan locker, thick cover
14b: DIY4x disc brackets, Detroit, 4.88 thick cut, cover
Sits in 40” Toyo, 17” rims, have new rollers on 16” steels
ORD Front 52” leafs, DIY4x A-Bomb front, FUSH shackle hanger with 6” shackles, 7100 16” Bilsteins to shock hoops.
Flipped 56” rears, added a leaf and arched, ORD 4” flip brackets, DIY4x anti-wrap, 5125 14” Bilsteins to cage inside.
8 point cage plus front shock hoop tie-ins, 2 & 1.75” DOM, MasterCraft seats bolt to cage, have 1 extra brand new seat for bolting in for 2nd passenger
4 point harnesses for 3 people, one extra set
DIY4x dash and Autometer gauges
Warn 12k winch on Yankum synthetic
DIY tube doors with newer mirrors
Full original doors converted to manual
Custom bumpers and spare tire holder. Spare tire is Brand New InterCo 37” on 17”
Extra Outer Yukon shaft and Spicer joints. Extra full set of stock D60 shafts and hubs. Drive flanges also.
Rebuilt York compressor and DIY4x mount in a box with air tanks

I don’t know. A ton of stuff. More than I can think of. It’s been rewired a couple times. No HVAC stuff. I need to get the brakes fixed, only fronts work right now. She smokes a little, maybe PCV dunno. Anyone from the Brotherhood is welcome to drop the oils, compression check, etc etc. Do any tested needed. I wouldn’t hesitate, after checking fluids etc, to drive it anywhere. (However, the Toyos might be questionable if it’s a really long drive) I could help if we want to find some used ones locally, get them to a tire shop. I might have some BBs for them too.

Truck is dirty and has sat since BB event. Current pictures wouldn't do it justice. Some of these picture are old, not misleading, she’s good but not that clean anymore. Anyone interested can PM me a phone number. Would be a lot easier to share pics. (Oh, the missing grill is recent, still have the grill/lights/etc. Ran out of time to install for BB) Also feel free to search “B450R” on YouTube for more stuff like…

I don’t know. In my head I really feel like that’s a great deal. I hope I’m not alone.

I won’t have help bleeding brakes for another couple weeks. It might just sit for now. If anyone plans to drive it home, I’m down for a wrench session. :waytogo: That’s also a big thing, I got nobody to wrench/wheel/converse with about this stuff locally.

Are you running that swamp cooler in the rig, or were you just transporting it that day?

FWIW/IMO $15k is more than fair...I'd consider it myself but I have too many other irons in the fire. Hell, just the CA vanity tag is worth a chunk of change (or do those transfer like regular plates?)!

Swamp cooler was for BB but I severely underestimated the amount of water slosh LOL. Felt pretty dumb learning that before it went on the trailer.

Specialty plates don’t transfer with vehicles but for a CK5 member I’d surrender them. I think it’s just a form to fill out.
 
Want a shortbed LS swapped truck instead ? Little more street friendly.

Needs a gauge cluster installed and the heater controls but pretty solid driver

It was made to fit under however I never tried, ended up with the soft top on after the cage was done. The B hoop was in the truck as I took the hard top off for the last time.
