1985 k5 blazer questions!!!!!!!

1) theres a clacking noise near the transfer case and its at its loudest when the car is just started and quits down when put in drive? what could this be?

2) i have a bone stock motor and i need ideas on where to start to make it run better with some power???

3) i have 35" tires with a 2 2" blocks in the back (raise) with suspension holding front up and i was thinking of getting long travel with king coil overs if thats possibly?? im new to this so any help would be great!!!???

I have some questions:

1) The noise is there on start up. Is it around any other time? Or does it go away at some point?

2) You have all the smog stuff, a computer controlled carb, O2 sensor, Cat, and 350 right?

3) You have 2" blocks in the rear. What is the lift in the front, if any? You wont produce enough travel, ever, to use long travel kings. Unless you go to linkage and run it desert racing.
