1985 K5 Blazer w/350 Oil Pan Removal

I've found posts saying both you do and do not need to lift the engine to remove the oil pan on Blazers. Would anyone be able to confirm what is required in my scenario?

I have a 1985 4 wheel drive K5 Blazer with a SBC 350 in it. I am trying to remove thenoil pan to change the pump.
