3 I have the complete weather gasket kit from JC Whitney new in the box. This kit provides ALL gaskets for both doors, I believe it cost me $200 when I bought it.
4 Comes with Chevy's repair manual for that year (all models C/K/G vans etc.) and both Chiltons diesel repair and C/K truck manuals
5 I have most of the stock stuff I took of and/or replaced if you want to return it to it original form
6 I will throw in all extra oil/filters/u-joints etc. that I have in my garage. I have ALL receipts for what I have purchase for this truck.
7 I have everything needed to convert it to run on veggie oil if interested
----Concerns
1 A/c has been removed, it has working heat but you are unable to change the delivery setting.( for example vent to defrost) It blows out of all openings but hardest on the floor
2 It has cruise control but has never worked as long as I have owned it
3 Dome light has never worked (wiring)
4 Top does leak a little bit when it rains real hard. It doesn't drip on passengers or anything and the floor is waterproof so I havent really messed with it.
5 It has o.k. tires 265/75/15 =31's 3 diff brands
6 It has been starting hard as the cold weather has hit the area. It only starts hard after sitting for more than 5-6 hours. I have not experimented with it plugged in and I think that is what it needs.
7 PDL will lock but not unlock
This truck runs great ,once you get it started
, and burns no oil. I get 16-17mpg in town and as high as 24mpg on the highway. The passengers and rear bench seats are mint. The drivers is ripped but I am currently running a seat cover. The dash it cracked and dry rotted. Its previous owner rubbed against something white on its passenger side and someone didn't like the previous owner and keyed the driverside. I have spray painted the truck in various places to fix rust etc. It doesn't look bad but it wouldn't make the cover of 4 Wheeler. It ran great all spring and summer and the starting thing has me upset, but I'm hoping that plugging the block heater in will make all the difference. It is registered and inspected in the state of Maine.
I bought the truck on 6/9/03 have spent alot of money and more time that I care to think about on this K5. I have some life changes that are going to impact the amount of time I have to tinker. I hate to see "Stinky" go but I'm sure I can find a good home. I could part "Stinky" out and get more than I'm asking but I'd like it to go as a whole blazer to someone that will continue to improve it and drive it. I will also list this locally in the want ads.
$2500 or resonable offer
I know I'm forgetting things and I can provide any info you need (including pictures) if you let me know.
Thanks again to all the CK5'ers that helped me along with my project
