i am only selling this because i want a pickup. i need to sell this pretty fast to get the one i want but well see. its an awesome truck. this is my DD and its makes 60mi+ every day.
i am in central texas near san antonio and you can reach me at gottasmallface at yahoo for more pictures or anything.
i am asking 6500 for a ck5er OBO. its a very nice truck which is even hard to find around here.
axles
stock 10bolts with 456 gears and an Auburn LS in the rear which works great. warn premium hubs and the driver side is a little hard to turn. brand new calipers just a few months ago.
suspension
six inch front spring and a zero rate with the axle moved 1.5 inches forward
and it flexes really good, i can stuff the 37s. rancho 9000x (adjustable) long traveling shocks. about 7 inches of total lift.
rear is a ORD shackle flip with an AAL and zero rate to relocate the axle. pinion has been shimmed for the 1350 CV shaft built by driveshafts unlimited. $$$ i would guess 8 inches in the back. procomp shocks back there.
motor trans transfer case, misc stuff
this is the 350 ~ 150k. with a new water pump, ps pump, belts, upper and lower radiator hoses, tstat, dist cap, rotor, dist. gasket, plugs and plug wires. also sealed the cap. new starter and fuel pump, new oil pan and gasket with new rear main seal. and high speed chrome valve covers and air cleaner. puff of white smoke on cold startup but one pump of gas it will start on even the coldest morning. optima battery with a keyed disconnect. kill switch under the seat. has an alarm that hasnt worked in a LONG time.
holley 650 vacuum secondary and it may have a cam? its timed right on 6* and hasnt moved in many months. after about a week or two of driving i notice a small oil drop hanging from the torque convertor cover. never drips on to the ground. has new breather and is properly routed. no other leaks. headers welded to dual 40 series flowmasters (no shackle interferance), sounds good except for the pinhole in the #7 header tube....
OH the AC still works and its fully charged and converted but i dont have the belt on cause i use the 2-55 a/c
trans and tcase 700/208 were rebuilt by the previous owner and they spent 3k on a full rebuild but it had a 12 month warranty that ran out in feb 07 probably 18K on it now. also have the Bowtie Overdrives lockup kit which works perfectly. trans fluid is still like new and new filter 5k ago, best way to keep a 700 healthy. working on a rebuilt tcase at the moment.
new steering box and hoses and rag joint, ball joints are all tight like new.
pump kinda squeals at low rpm but turns the big tires no problem. weld on box brace.
tires are 37 12.5 15 goodyear MTRs on black steelies. speedometer is off. ~75-80 when its really ~65. no punctures, scrapes, scratches or patches.
body is in nice shape with NO RUST anywhere and only a few dings and dents. some scratches from trees and brush but nothing crazy. PO had a carb fire at one time so theres a small patch on the hood. fire extinguisher inside cab. fenders were cut to accomodate the tires and zero rate in the front. i think they look pretty damn good. bumper is not included, i really really like it.
inside the cab is really nice for how old it is and it has NOS buckets from GM about this time last year. dash is all cracked up and which ones arent right? carpet is in pretty good shape but it has seen water a few times. not stinky. ive cleaned it a couple times with a pressure washer.
the frame is so clean you can read the factory writing on it, no rot at all.
i know im forgetting a whole heap of stuff and again i dont really want to sell it.
