IA 1986 Ford Dana 60 $1000

Bought the whole F350 for the front axle but won’t get around to using it. I’m sure someone on here can. Story on the truck is the guy pulled the engine years ago and tore it apart to build it and never got around to putting it back together. Door code is 35 which means 4.10 gears. Local pickup in central Iowa 50170

1980-1985 F350’s they used a TTB, then 1986-1991 were kingpin Dana 60’s with the wider leaf spring spacing (36” same as a TTB), 1992-1997 were balljoint 60’s

I have one of those too, just can’t make myself sell it lol they’re still desirable since they run the same spring spacing as squares

Yeah the 78-79 are the same spring pad spacing as the square so they are more desirable but yes they are not the only ford king pin d60
I am not sure but I believe the newer axles have the pumpkin in a different location which makes putting it in a leaf sprung square not easy.
Probably moved it to allow more clearance for the front driveshaft

Coils & links are the answer to all of these spacing problems...
