This is a very nice truck, and it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to part with her. I simply don't get to wheel her as much as I'd like.

It started out as a very clean stocker which was my daily driver for years and is still in very good condition. All of the gauges and switches work, there aren't any cracks in the dash pad. This truck had factory A/C and the parts are still there; however, there is a leak somewhere and it has not been converted to r134a. The only rust to speak of is in the cab corners (see pics). In the interest of full disclosure, there are a couple of body filler cracks (see pics) and the paint is starting to fade on the roof. It does see the trail so there are some scratches. That said, it is a very nice truck as can be seen in the pictures. She drives great on the road, especially with the street tires. I just ran 75 mph on interstate for 3.5 hrs to get her back home from my dad's place. No problems at all.

Asking $7500

Also may be interested in trading for clean, mild/stockish 67-72 anything or full top Blazer/Jimmy.

Well, I generally don't like to TTT for no reason.... So I painted the beadlock rings.

TTT for updated pictures :D.

I'm sure $6 worth of spray paint will bring someone around :haha:. It is Rustoleum after all (and almost matches the center stripe no less).

nice truck, always liked it. i like the added cup holders on the door panels, something i need to add to mine

I'm still pretty fond of her myself. Thanks for the compliments. I don't really need the money right now; she just takes up too much space for the amount that she gets driven.

There's really nothing wrong with her. It's just that over the past several years all of my wheeling buddies have either sold or broken their rigs (or started projects that will never be finished). Since I never get to wheel, most of my contact time with the old gal is working on some project (bumper, floor, seats, etc). It's gotten to the point that when I think about her, I think about what I'd like to do to her, not what I'd like to do or where I'd like to go with her.

From the looks of things I'll probably end up keeping her, though. Maybe my brother will finish his project soon and I can actually go wheeling again. I'm not really into the club scene, more just a couple of buddies piddling around on a trail or the creek bank on the farm. With all of the free spots getting closed, the sport seems to be trying to force me into a more organized approach. Sad really.

Check out Royal Blue in campbell county. Not sure how many trails are just for atv's, but there are alot of trails. Windrock is good too and neither are far from you.

Bondo cracks, faded roof, and cab corners have been repaired. All were DIY repairs so they aren't perfect, but they look pretty flippin' good, especially for a trail truck.

Cab corners were wire brushed with a cup brush on a grinder, shot with rust converter, patched with bondo (with that self adhesive body patch), sanded into shape, and painted with Duplicolor (2 coats of gloss black, 3 coats of clear). Probably not a permanent repair but it should put the cancer into partial remission and it certainly looks better.

The cracked bondo was removed with the cup brush and then reapplied, sanded, and painted. The faded roof was also sanded before paint. Both areas were shot with 2 coats Rustoleum gloss black followed by 2 coats of Rustoleum Clear (all paint was acrylic lacquer). Autozone was out of Duplicolor and Rustoleum was cheaper. There are a few runs but they aren't that noticeable (I sanded them down with 1500 grit followed by polishing compound).

After spending some quality time together, I'm falling back in love with the old gal. That said, I'm still interested in the right trade (and I'm still pretty fond of money too).

And finally the roof, the part that I feel doesn't look so hot. I just couldn't get the rattle cans to lay an even coat up there. At least you'd have to be an NBA player to see it. The parts you can see from the ground look good.

And just for the sake of pic whoring, I took some more poser shots while I was at it:

I may have just acquired an IH Scout 800A. I'm still relatively firm on price, but I'll consider any reasonable offers (especially from CK5 because I want her to go to a good home).

Price drop:
$6500 obo (I keep the winch; bumper and fairlead stay with the truck)
