i have an 1986 k10 with a 700r4 transmission and i was wondering if their is suppose to be a vaccum line from the transmission onto the intake or carb

Not on a 700r4,they use a throttle valve cable that goes from the throttle linkage to the valve body inside the tranny--adjustment is critical on it too,set it wrong or run one with a broken/dissconnected cable and it'll toast the clutches in a matter on minutes ..
