1986 K30 SRW 454/400/205 ON EBAY

Interesting... it is an 86 model truck yet it has the tall t-case adapter and straight crossmember that should have stopped in 84. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yeah, ok buddy

Exhaust manifolds and sparkplugs lead me to think it is a small block. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Thats a Big block, If you look at the manifold right after the first plug you can see the exhaust passage for the number 2 Cylinder.

My bad /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif The shadow from the PS res. threw me. Looking at the valve cover looks like a BB, too.

That's intersting.

I thought the number two cylinder was on the other side of the engine. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

What strikes me as odd here is the PS reservoir.....its on the driver side of the engine where as the actual location is on the passenger side on the alternator bracket. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

it looks to be a 454 implant, someone must not have liked the diesel. also were are the overloads above the rear springs?

well, the ps bracket, there are two threaded holes in the side of the ac bracket there (ac compressor aint installed). On my brackets, and how it was on my 'burban is that there are 2 holes in the side of the ac, just the little sheet metal bracket that is holding the resevoir on that truck, wasnt on my burban, so it was kinda layin there. The hose however, wasnt long enough to make it to the pass side, so I think that is the correct placement for it.
