Hello my name is Kevin Lee, and I am new to the forum.
I am buying a 1986 Chevy K5 Blazer. It has no mods, but is the 6.2ltr Diesel and it is 4X4. What can I do to this truck to make it faster, better off road, and make the engine run reliably? It is carburated, meaning I see an air filter on top of the engine. How good are these trucks? are there any sites selling aftermarket parts for the k5 like convertible covers, abd bumper guard, or bull bars? I think thats all the questions I have for now. Thank you for any help you can provide.

propane injection would be sweet. b4 u go spending money on mods, make sure everything on it is good. its alot more convienent to work on when its stock then when its lifted. there are tons of sites that sell stuff for these truck. they are great and lots of fun.

welcome!

i almost forgot, take ur sway-bar off, that will help a bunch, and its free!

A diesel does not have a carb. pull the air cleaner and see for yourself...

Quad Headlights transplant.

Your right, I took it off, and there was no carb, I just saw the aircleaner, and it looked like my 1987 GMC Sierra. My fault, thank you for clearing that up.
are all these generation trucks about the same, exept for options and engines and so forth? For example this truck has single headlights, with the turn signals under then, not the quad headlights, can I change that so I have quad headlights? when I say quad head lights I mean like the ones before 1994 or so, like my 1987 sierra.

thank you

He'll also need the 4 headlight core support...
