I'm thinking about buying this Blazer. .

Clean title.

6.2 diesel.
Drives great.
Has locking front and rear axles.

I would have to buy it sight unseen. Once I agree to buy, it gets dropped off at my house. I don't pay until I see it in person, but I would be committed to the sale, since they are delivering it from 250 miles away. They show up, I gotta buy it.

Can anyone guess as to what the value is?

Whats this rig worth?

Should I proceed?

It's a M1009, to go for between 3500 and 9k depending on condition. If they say it has low miles it might have high idle hours which is bad. Where in WA is it? Unless work was done to the axles it has a gov lock rear diff and a open front diff, it's missing the shackle mounts on the front bumper and it's pretty rough.

Drive out and look at it before committing to the purchase. It will always be worth the drive. 250 miles from Seattle and still in WA state means Spokane or Tri-Cities areas, the rust tells me it is probably closer to Spokane.

I have an M1009 an hour out of Seattle that I am prepping to sell that I think would be in better condition that came off of Ft. Lewis. I just need to replace the starter and bleed the fuel system after a filter change. You can see pics of mine from my signature.

I'll get in line for that M1009. DM me what price you are thinking.

Try GovPlanet.com. Military auction site. I bought an 86 CUCV from them with multi pictures on the site. I bit the bullet and offered 6K. Bidding stopped at 6K with multiple buyers at that bid. I was the first bid so I got it. I had it transported to L.A. for $800 (worth every penny of it). It has NO cancer, minimal surface rust on the drive train 58K on the odo, does not smoke and runs great.

I Tried to find a Banks TURBO conversion but no luck. (Does anybody have a complete one for sale?) I think I lucked out on the rust aspect. One item I did add was a Gear vendors OD to the TH400. Best addition I could have made as it sits. Checked the fuel mileage from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and got 22 MPG using WAVE mileage. Not too shabby for Interstate mileage at 2900 RPM.

I did a 24 to 12 electrical conversion too.
