Guys I have a rust free 1986 k5.
Has 350/350/208 (I believe). Was a DD and then it died one day. Believed issue with the CC carb. It's been living behind a shop for the past 8 years give or take.

I got "possession" of it thru a trade. Always wanted to save it but I don't have the time or money and now we are leaving the state.
If any body back east wants a rust free body that potentially with a quadrant and a drop in hei would run again.

It's a fully loaded factory unit. AC, power windows and locks. Tilt column. The works.

Anyway, come Monday morning, it goes to the scrap yard. So. If you're interested you have 3 days to let me know. I don't want to be responsible for sending this clean/unmolested rig to the k5 yard in the sky but thems the breaks.

Well good lord at least take scrap price before you scrap it :doah:

It used to run :dunno: We can drive it back burnout

That was my plan for a while was just to get it running and sell it but time and money changes things. What I'm told it wouldn't take much to get it driving again. But I'm not sure I'd drive it all the way back without some work lol

You could donate it to Goodwill or a local church or something. You can take the selling price off your taxes. They might likely end up scrapping it anyway, but at least maybe there's a 50% chance it will survive. Just a thought :dunno:

If shipping wasn't an issue I'd buy it just to save it. Impossible to find rust free vehicles around here.:doah:

Unfortunately right now I'm not worried bout taxes. I'm worried about a uhaul trailer.

I'd send ya money for it, but I'm guessing it needs to also be gone in short order... Which I prolly can't make happen
