1986 Suburban 4x4 3/4 Ton 6.2 From Las Vegas

Good luck.
That is a nice ramp side.
Your price on the burb is a bit high for the shape it's in.
I sold my TD 85 running with no problems for $2500 and that was the only bite I had in 3 months.
Now fixing the one you were gonna take, and then selling it.

Yeah, it's a "bit" high... But the time and effort saved by being rust free in New England? Well, we'll see... I may paint it and install the '89 interior...

This is a discussion in the east coast:

That is why I mentionned it, they were discussing this a couple of weeks ago.
Economy is really bad, that is why prices are so low. :o

Do you have any better pics? Where is this located in the NE? Thanks.

Sure is nice to see a classic chevy in the NE that is rust free.

Could you tell me more info about it? Mileage? New parts? Old parts? Need parts? Injector Pump? Why did it stall? Any leaks? Tranny slippage?

I put on two calipers and pads in LV, but the left rotor is junk, 1 hour job. Rebuilt starter, runs 210 thru the HOT desert, TH400 shifts perfect, (I used ta rebuild them, so I know). Not sure why it stalled, but after sitting unused for a few weeks, it starts fine in mild weather. It also restarts instantly. Just stalls rarely.
Prolly 211k, needs 1 injector, new fuel filter, changed to syn oil in LV. I drove it almost 1000 miles. The usual small stuff, it is 23 years old, but I think I greased all the window tracks, or most. I have several other solid axle Subs, so I lose track!

Original exhaust in good shape, no rust at all. No diffy noises, I used 4wd on the farm, seems ok. A/C comp is an aftermarket with junk brackets. I have the parts to put it back to original.

Are you interested in trades at all? It seems like you may have a liking for mid-engine cars so I will throw this out there. I have an 88 Pontiac Fiero GT. 61K original miles. This car is actually worth about $5500 so keep that in mind. Let me know if you are interested.

My wife wants me to pay my credit cards. I want to rebuild the drivetrain in the Corvair pick up that's engineless in Arizona.
Attach pix. Is it rust free? I know it's a plastic body, but my friends Saturn is rotten underneath... I'm going to peruze eBay's listings now...

It is rust free. It gets stored in the winter. The guy that I bought it from stored it as well and he owned it for 15 years. I can get you pics when I take it out of storage in about 1-2 mos.

The 88 Fiero GT is the best one to own. They put in a Lotus inspired suspension for that year only. The only real weak spot on these cars is the motor. It is OK, but to make the car a rocket you need a little more. I always leaned towards the 3.8 V6 swap myself. That is a good motor and it can be had with a supercharger.
