hey guys its been awhile since ive been around. life stuck it to me for awhile but thankfully i'm on the rebound..i hope! i at least feel better and want to start working on some of my projects. i have a 1987 2wd 2500 crew that has been sitting for awhile..it was a good running truck, but the fuel system has been messed up..its sat in a friends yard before i got it and the tanks had been filled with acorns by kids when they quit driving it. they parked it due to front brakes needing rebuilt n the gas guzzling efi 454 under the hood..the switch that swaps tanks is also missing. so i am thinking of just pulling all the stock tanks/pumps and lines and replacing them with a fuel cell in the bed. i'm needing some help about which aftermarket fuel pump i should be looking at. should i go with a stock style that mounts in the tank and get the fuel cell that accommodates these style pumps, or should i go with a pump mounted in the frame rail plumbed into outlet on fuel cell. this truck is a toy..i am wanting to sport truck it some, probally lower it a bit..so no towing or off road..any help is appreciated..
