1987-91 bucket seat plastic hinge covers

I snapped these this am. Couldn't find the ones I wanted.

You see the difference here better:

And here is the box I got the NOS S10 piece in. Number comes back as '93 S10 Blazer non power seat.

Hope this helps.
Loads of them in the wrecking yard still. I have found that as far back as '86 is the same.
Meant to add, the number on the back of the part is the same from S10 to K5. When K5 switched seat designs in '87, I guess GM just adapted the already existing S10 hinge/cover on to the K5 seat seats.

I see, the passenger seat has the build out for the seat mechanism. So S-10 is the only one with the same passenger seat build out then?

Yep, only S10 2dr and extended cab bucket seats have this trim. And K5 of course. They should go all the way back to '82 but never found anything older than '86 around here.
The lower hinge is physically bigger due to the cable latch for tilt and slide.
As far as I know(never looked closely at 4dr), the 4dr won't work because the seat hasn't the tilt/slide cable part for passengers to get into the rear seat.
All (Malibu, Monte Carlo etc) G body & (Camaro, Firebird) F body never had the seat cable/slide option.
30 yrs of screwing with GMs and 17 Blazers, you learn alot of worthless info. :D

Well I guess I will have a good driver side from the set that shows up soon . Just need to find a better one for the passenger side then the one I have on there now.

Might be able to help you there Teck.
Let me go dig around in the garage. Let you know in a day or so...

I have some '88 Cavalier buckets, the passenger seat has the same tilt/slide mechanism. However, I don't remember it having the special side cover. I'll have to look.

The driver side cover can be found clear back to '82 models.

I looked at Cavalier, Sunbirds and it was the same as Camaro type but never noticed the cable/slide. Good to know when the cable breaks.

Thanks, that would be great. those are one of the few pieces I have not been able to get or remake when redoing my interior. any color would work as I can dye it grey.

Sent the ones back to dixie monte carlo. Nice remakes but the Passanger ones won't work.

Thanks for your help on this Irish.:waytogo:
