I know i have seen posts on this before, but my searces came up dry. I am trying to find out what the gear ratio is supposed to be in my 87 blazer. I don't know what the codes are. Or which one on the glove box door is the code.

lol, thats not bad, i have a front 10 bolt and a rear 12 bolt on my 87, with 3.08's and 33's, i scraged the rear 10 bolt with the gov loc, so i put in the 12 bolt out of a 79, its not stock.

Re: 1987 axel codes

I wanted to put 33's on it, but THAT ain't gonna happen! I have a set of axels from a 3/4 ton, but only a semi floater rear. It has 3.73 axels. I might put them in anyways. This is only a road/plow truck. I don't really need a ff14bolt
