I'm gonna start a thread on this beast.
Got her from my parents it was involved in a crash and was considered totaled. I drove it through high school & college then it's slowly been getting built little by little to be a bad ass crawler that'll pass CO. Emissions. Kind of a no frills rig.
It blew the transmission after 35's were added. Swapped in a couple rebuilt engines haha then eventually a 14 bolt, a sm465 and 208. Then 4.56 gears. Recently got a dana 60 put a locker in it, w 4.56 gears. Found some double beadlocks this last week and put those on. Ordered rock rings, and spacers. And a th400 and 205, thinking of building a double too. This is just a dump of pics from along the way. I'll try to stay up to date as the build progresses

Picked up a dana 60 around March. Rebuilt it in a few weekends. Cut the hangers for the 10 bolt off and slid the 60 under. Using 53" ish long springs from a Ford bronco up front. Working on the front rear hangers/ shackles still.

Sweet we'll have to take the rigs on a run some day, aiming for spring/summer w my rig. It's been a long couple years workin on it.

Update time!
Somthe truck is running as it is now.
Gathering parts for a pretty big drivetrain swap!
Currently: 350 TBI NV4500 np208
COMING SOOOOOON: 350 fitech, th400 (with 1-2 shift kit from transgo), np241/205 doubler (mostly home built)

Like the rims and the sliders. I take it the sliders are welded right to the frame? I need to do something like that for a jacking point on my truck, but I was thinking of using rectangular tubing. What are those rims off of? Nice job on the winch mount, also! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
