1/2 ton status
I have a 1987 chevy 1/2 ton 305 4x4 throttle body automatic transmission, Here is my problem I start it up it seems to start fine for the first couple of miles or minutes it runs fine. When I come to a stop and try to go it sounds like its going to stall backfires when it shifts into second gear it runs fine when it downshifts you can feel it slugging a little bit. I pulled the code and got a code 44 which is a lean condition. I changed the 02 sensor and the fuel filter and nothing. I was leaning more toward a fuel pump or fuel pressure regualator what do you guys think?
