Hurry with the pics.

Is it Silverado, Scottsdale or Custom Deluxe?

What brand of lift and how is the rear lifted? Does it have steering correction?

Ever been in a wreck? Anything bent, welded, rusted, etc. on the frame?

Pics of the overall truck, interior, engine compartment and underside would be greatly appreciated.

:D :D :D

I got the pics and will put them up here later tonight. Its a crew cab and looks pretty good. I'm gonna have to pass on this truck because I want either a true '87 V30 in regular cab or a '91 V3500 in crew cab. I prefer either in SRW version, too. Like the thread in the Lounge, I'm picky on my trucks just like I am on my women. :wink1: :D

Whatcha meanin by "true" 87?
What I mean is that I want a true K or V30, not a K10 or 20 with D60's swapped under them.

is it not a v30 ?.or what it does have d60 and 14 bolt

Yep, I got it after I looked at the pics.

Wait a sec...

Wes, why isn't this a true 30?

I mistakenly looked at one of the pics thinking it was a short bed cc, which led me to believe it was a custom job...60/14 bolt added like you suggested.

But, it is for sure a long bed crew cab. (I'll look at all the pics next time):doah:

I'm glad someone else did not see a problem with the pics. I think it is a pretty clean, good looking truck. Let us know Wes.

What do you want to know from me?

I'm working out stuff with Justin for his '87 V30 now.

i guess because you insinuated that this was not a true one ton, inquiring minds want to know why you felt that way.

btw, good luck on the new one. what are the plans?

Oh geez. I never meant this truck wasn't a true one ton. :doah:  :doah:

I meant in this particular thread, that I was looking for a true K30 in either the '87 or '91 specific year. BUT...I wasn't looking for an '87 in a crew cab configuration. Only the '91 in CC. The '87 I prefer in regular cab.

Go back and reread my post. It will become more clear when you do. :wink1: Pay attention on how I worded it.

Plans for the one from Justin is to make it a work/tow/driver. Nothing fancy. I've needed another truck for a while now since my K30's tranny quit and I'd rather have another truck anyways.

Well now that you explain it that way.:D I guess the word true threw me off. That's cool. Good luck w/the dually.:wink1:
