1/2 ton status
SOLD!!!
The FZ600 was Yamaha's first real "racer replica" introduced in 1986.
This was one of the bikes everyone wanted and still remembers. They are VERY hard to find with original body work that has not been repainted or totally lost over the years.
This bike is not perfect but it is 95% original and complete. We bought it about a year ago from a guy that had it in storage. The bike only has 10,xxx miles on it.
Condition:
-New tires this year
-Rebuilt the carbs this year and a tune up (TFOG wheelsports)
-new mirrors(but not original)
-flush mount front signals(have 1 original front signal to include)
-ALL the original plastics some cracking, pealing, not perfect, but it's all there)
-New fuel pitcock
-Tank flushed and coated.
-New grips
-K&N Air filter
-Kerker exhaust(dented), but heat wrapped to keep temps down.
The bike has fallen over on both sides during it's life. Nothing hard, but it does have scrathes on the bar ends, engine case covers and some small cracks in the plastics. It was knocked over in a parking lot and fell onto another bike leaving a dent in the tank of the FZ600.
This would be a great first bike or classic restoration project. We are only selling it because we replaced it with a newer bike.
Not the best picture but the only one I have right now.
