1987 k5 orignal value?

Hey guys, I am trying to get a range of the value of my blazer. I have a all original great shape 1987 k5 that is a two owner truck. Shows 43k miles. Runs great and was owned by an older man that drove it to the coffee shop in town for the last 15 years. I can't decide if i want to keep it or sell it. If i keep it, im thinking about putting a 3" lift and some new tires on it. I want to keep it as original as possible other then a lift. Thanks for the help

Asked this question myself a while back... origonal price back in the 80s was around 15k if i remember right, in my area most of the ones in good shape still sell for a pretty penny, 5-7500 is pretty normal from my experience, and goes way on up with any good mods or restoration, saw one on craigs several months ago, i belive it was a 72, asking about 42k, but it was all done up to perfection... there priceless to some people. Personally i turn my head when people ask much more then 5000 for a desent one, they are 30 years old, and older by now, and that means old parts, especially if in original condition. Ive never paid more than 1500 for one, but then again they wouldnt make it through the gate at a showing!
